Fort Worth’s burger scene reached new heights when this craft burger spot opened in the West 7th area near the Cultural District.
Rodeo Goat at 2836 Bledsoe St brings house-ground beef blends and Texas craft beers under one rustic roof.
The son of Flying Saucer/Meddlesome Moth owners created this spot to prove Cowtown is about way more than just cattle.

What Makes Rodeo Goat Special
Every burger uses a custom blend of brisket, chuck, and rib ground in-house, creating impossibly juicy patties with bold flavor.
The patties are hand-formed, so they’re juicier and messier than everybody else’s—exactly how great burgers should be.
Fort Worth Magazine declared their Bad Hombre burger and Moontang cocktail as “dare we say, the nation’s best” dishes and drinks.

The Story Behind Rodeo Goat
The restaurant emerged victorious in the 2015 DFW.com Battle of the Burgers, beating Fort Worth icon Fred’s Texas Cafe in the final round.
The concept expanded to multiple Texas locations including Denton, Dallas, Frisco, Houston, and Plano, but the Fort Worth original remains special.
The indoor/outdoor seating creates a Texas Hill Country general store vibe, with Christmas trees trimmed in empty beer cans adding kitsch charm.
