Top Review: “Love this place!! Such an amazing hidden gem.  brunch is my favorite meal here. I get the champitos (mint lemonade mimosa thing) and ANY breakfast item is amazing I’ve basically tried them all. The chef Victor is so nice and accommodating. The servers are professional and attentive. Tim usually served me and was so awesome at giving recommendations!  I hope this cafe doesn’t get too crowded over time because I love it so much!”Rhys O.

Top Review: “Favorite burrito spot in Los Angeles, hands down. The breakfast burrito is a classic and definitely as good as (if not better than) Wake n Late (very different but equally delicious). Unpopular opinion but the fish burrito is the best thing on the menu– I said and I stand by it. I understand fish is not for everyone but if you’re feeling adventurous and enjoy fish, I highly recommend it. Also, the house sauce is a must. It’s made fresh so sometimes it’s spicier than others. I have a very low tolerance for spicy-ness and I will always add Lily’s sauce to my burrito, even when it’s too hot, it’s so worth it. Call/order in advance, they’re so busy and the wait is usually long but so worth it. And please don’t forget to tip generously, they’re all so hardworking and friendly.”Victoria S.

Since it was during the week there wasn’t much of a wait and we were seated within 5 minutes. The inside was super cute and clean. We ordered the crab cake benedict and the french toast with coffee and a tumeric latte. Everything was delicious! I’ll definitely be back here for brunch next time I’m in the Malibu area.”Yasi N.

Top Review: “Drew our waiter had the most wonderful way of making all 3 of us feel at home as we sat down and asked for recommendations!! This is definitely one for the books after such a horrible week his atmosphere, humbleness, professionalism and down to earth attitude made up for it!! Where we will be returning back and would love to be greeted and taken greatly care off by customer service such as Drew Authenticity and Not to be greeted awfully/  misjudged by the young hostess at the front with a snobby attitude. Other than that everything was delightful even if one dish seem to be to darn rich and salty but of course it was taken care off with up most respect right away.” – Eloina W.

The potatoes in the burrito are lightly crispy, which I totally appreciate and love. They also don’t throw in 5 pounds of potatoes like some other places do (way too much). If you’re in the Malibu area, you must stop by for this breakfast burrito treat  Provecho!”Connie G.

Top Review: “This place is really cute! I love that it’s on the pier of Malibu with great views. There was too long of a wait at the front restaurant so went to the back cafe. Both of them have good views, but cafe is just more of an order at counter and then they serve you. We still had to wait in line there but it was worth the wait! All the food was good, we ordered watermelon juice, surfers ranchero, skirt steak sandwich and a quesadilla for my daughter. The ambience was even better! Having tables so close to the water is relaxing for a day trip to Malibu!”

Top Review: “This was my 3 yr old’s first restaurant experience! She ate the kids French toast and my mom got the same. I ordered the veggie scramble and it was surprisingly delicious. The multigrain sourdough toast was awesome. It was so fun to be outside in the sand, with plenty of seating. My baby was fussy but we were far enough away from others so I wasn’t too self conscious. It’s expensive, yes. You’re paying for the beach and experience, not so much the food, although they have a TON of drinks that would probably be great. Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating. I wish I remembered her name, she had blonde hair. A great day for all of us!”Jessica M.

I love coming here before or after going to the beach for a walk either for lunch or an afternoon pick me up coffee and pastries. Or even just for ice cream. That delicious homemade ice cream is a must try. The food is always made fresh with great quality ingredients. I especially love the ficelle sandwiches, made with the best tasting bread. It gets busy on the weekends, be prepared to wait in line. But trust me it will all be worth it. …Now go on and order an prosciutto and white cheddar  ficelle sandwich.”Gohar K.

Top Review: “My friend took me here for a quick lunch and recommended the sushi burritos, which I was planning on getting. But, as soon as I saw the lobster burrito on the menu, I couldn’t resist! This place is pretty small and feels like just a quick grab-and-go type of restaurant so I didn’t have high expectations. But, I was absolutely blown away by the lobster burrito. It’s simple but delicious and the lobster tastes so fresh! The side sauces also go so well with the burrito-both the spicy mayo and the more citrusy/soy-sauce-like sauce are great, but I still wouldn’t complain about eating the burrito plain. I also like that the burrito is wrapped in this soy paper so there’s less rice and feels healthier. The price is pretty reasonable relative to other Malibu restaurants, and personally the portion size was pretty filling. If I ever get the chance to come back, I look forward to trying their other foods!”Alicia W.
