Perfect crispy pizza and love the rotation the a meat and veggie slice! We always get an arugula salad- lemony dressing with candied oranges are you kidding me? Top Review: “If you live in Nashville or come to visit, this is a MUST place to eat! The pizza here is second to none. The wood-fire ovens makes this a culinary experience to remember and it’s a visual experience watching the process of making and cooking these special concoctions! It is true pizza as it should be and for an extra special experience, spring for the Nutella with hazelnut dessert pizza! You will thank me! And say hi to Rob while you’re there!    He is so kind and engaging and really knows the art of pizza! He is the reason we tried the dessert pizza and this now gives us just another reason to keep going back! Keep up the great work DeSano team!”Anna F.

Nicky’s Coal Fired

As it says on their name, Nicky’s has coal-fired pizzas. What’s interesting about this Nashville pizza spot is its oven.

Enrico, their coal-fired oven, is a unique oven that not many pizzerias use. That’s why their pizzas have a more distinct taste you might not find in other pizza parlors.

You can choose the red or white sauce or pick their daily special.

Top Review: “This is one of the best pizza spots in Nashville. I know there are tons of coal fine style joints in this city, but this one takes the cake. The crust is cooked to perfection leaving a little charcoal flavor but still fluffy and not burnt. The pizza topping combos are unique and delicious. Also can’t stress enough how awesome it is that they run a special for $10 pizzas every Tuesday!!”Don F.

Place was packed when I got there with tons of take out orders.. clearly folks already know about this place. Will definitely be back!”Steph G.

Manny’s is a bit of a hidden gem that’s mostly popular with the locals. You can find it in the Arcade downtown if you want to give it a try.

Top Review: “Back again and their food is still absolutely incredible with Manny himself making it. Locals love this place but if the tourists on Broadway knew what they were missing I guarantee this place would be even busier. This is the definition of a family-run restaurant and it shows in the quality of their food. They are a lunch-only place given their location, but if you make the trip you will not be disappointed.” – William K.
