Farmer & the Cow captured Wilmington’s attention from the start when three friends—Mike Day, Jasper Singh, and Matt Collins—bonded over their shared love of bourbon and decided to open a restaurant together.
The trio brought an unusual twist: their head chef, Jasper Singh, is a vegetarian, yet he created a menu packed with some of the most craveable meaty burgers in Delaware.
The team spent considerable time developing their signature house beef blend, carefully mixing chuck, brisket, and filet to create a patty that delivers perfect texture and flavor with every bite.
Guy Fieri’s visit in 2019 catapulted the restaurant into the national spotlight when he featured their legendary That’ll Do Pig Burger on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Guy was so impressed, he joked they should rename the restaurant “The Pig and the Cow” in its honor, giving Delaware burger lovers serious bragging rights.
