QantasLink: Founded in 2002, QantasLink is a regional brand of Australian airline Qantas and is an affiliate member of the Oneworld airline alliance. It is a major competitor to Regional Express Airlines and Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.

Air Chathams: Established in 1984, Air Chathams is a regional airline in New Zealand that provides scheduled passenger flights to/from the Chatham Islands, as well as air-freight, air ambulance, and charter services.

Tigerair Australia: Founded in 2007, Tigerair Australia was a budget airline in Australia, a subsidiary of Virgin Australia. It operated on 21 routes with 11 destinations across Australia. Please note: As of my knowledge cut-off in 2021, Tigerair Australia ceased operations in 2020.

Skippers Aviation: Founded in 1990, Skippers Aviation is an airline based in Osborne Park, a suburb of Perth. The airline operates charter services for the mining industry and scheduled services from Perth, Western Australia.

FlyPelican: Established in 2015, FlyPelican is an Australian regional airline based at Newcastle Airport in New South Wales. The airline operates scheduled passenger services, charter and freight services.

Air2there: Founded in 2004, Air2there was a regional airline in New Zealand offering scheduled and charter services. As of my last update in 2021, Air2there was placed into receivership in 2018.

Barrier Air: Founded in 1983, Barrier Air is a New Zealand airline operating scheduled services from Auckland to Great Barrier Island, Northland, and Hamilton. It also offers charter services throughout the country.

Sunstate Airlines: Founded in 1983, Sunstate Airlines is an Australian airline based in Queensland, operating regional flights on behalf of Qantas under the QantasLink brand.

Eagle Airways: Founded in 1969, Eagle Airways was a regional airline in New Zealand that operated flights on provincial routes under the Air New Zealand Link brand. Please note: As of my knowledge cut-off in 2021, Eagle Airways ceased operations in 2016.

OzJet Airlines: Founded in 2005, OzJet Airlines was an Australian airline that operated scheduled domestic services and charter flights. OzJet ceased operations in 2009.

Caribbean

In the Caribbean, there are several major airlines that offer both domestic and international flights. These include Caribbean Airlines, LIAT, and Air Jamaica. There are also many smaller airlines that operate within specific regions of the Caribbean.

Caribbean Airlines: Established in 2006, Caribbean Airlines is the flag carrier of Trinidad and Tobago, operating services in the Caribbean, North America, Central America, and South America. Known for its warmth and hospitality.

Cayman Airways: Founded in 1968, Cayman Airways is the flag carrier of the Cayman Islands. The airline operates mainly as a link between the Cayman Islands and the United States, with additional regional routes.

LIAT (Leeward Islands Air Transport): Founded in 1956, LIAT is a regional airline headquartered in Antigua. It offers high-frequency inter-island services to 15 destinations in the Caribbean.

Bahamasair: Established in 1973, Bahamasair is the national airline of the Bahamas with its main hub in Nassau. It serves major domestic destinations and select international routes in the United States and Caribbean.

Air Caraïbes: Founded in 2000, Air Caraïbes is a French airline and the regional airline of the French Caribbean. It operates transatlantic flights to Paris, in addition to regional network in the West Indies.

Insel Air: Established in 2006, Insel Air was a Dutch Caribbean carrier that served destinations throughout the Caribbean, South America, and North America. It ceased operations in 2019.

interCaribbean Airways: Founded in 1991, interCaribbean Airways is a passenger airline based in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The airline offers scheduled domestic and regional services from its hub at Providenciales International Airport.

Winair (Windward Islands Airways): Founded in 1961, Winair is a government-owned airline based in the Netherlands Antilles. The airline operates flights to multiple destinations in the Leeward Islands.

Seaborne Airlines: Founded in 1992, Seaborne Airlines is a US carrier that operates throughout the Caribbean. Its main base is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Cubana de Aviación: Founded in 1929, Cubana is Cuba’s largest airline with its base at José Martí International Airport. The airline links Cuba with the Caribbean, North, Central, and South America, and Europe.

Aerogaviota: Established in 1994, Aerogaviota is an airline based in Havana, Cuba. It operates domestic scheduled and charter flights, plus international charter flights to the Caribbean and South America.

Aruba Airlines: Founded in 2006, Aruba Airlines is Aruba’s national carrier and operates international services to the United States, Venezuela, and other Caribbean destinations.

PAWA Dominicana: Established in 2007, PAWA Dominicana was an international airline from the Dominican Republic. As of my last update in 2021, PAWA Dominicana ceased operations in 2018.

SVG Air: Founded in 1990, SVG Air is an airline from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines that offers inter-island flights in the Eastern Caribbean islands.

Copa Airlines Colombia: Founded in 1945, Copa Airlines Colombia is a Colombian airline affiliated with Panama’s Copa Airlines. It serves domestic routes and select international destinations in the Americas.

Surinam Airways: Founded in 1953, Surinam Airways is the national airline of Suriname, offering regional and long-haul flights with its main base at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport.

Antilles Air Boats: Founded in 1963 by aviation pioneer Charles F. Blair Jr., Antilles Air Boats was a regional airline based in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Known for operating large flying boats, it provided vital inter-island services until ceasing operations in 1981.

Air Turks and Caicos: Established in 1991, Air Turks and Caicos, now known as interCaribbean Airways, is the national carrier of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The airline operates a network of routes within the Caribbean.

Air Century: Founded in 1992, Air Century is a regional airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It operates scheduled and charter services, mainly in the Caribbean region.

LeAir Charter Services: LeAir Charter Services is a charter airline based in Nassau, Bahamas. It provides scheduled and ad-hoc private charters within the Bahamas and to the US.

Sky High Aviation Services: Founded in 2008, Sky High Aviation Services is a Dominican airline that offers charter and scheduled flights in the Caribbean region, with expansion plans into America and Europe.

Hummingbird Air: Founded in 2013, Hummingbird Air is a small airline providing charter and scheduled flight services in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and other islands in the eastern Caribbean.

Sunrise Airways: Founded in 2010, Sunrise Airways is a Haitian airline that offers scheduled and charter flights in the Caribbean region, with plans for expanding into North, Central and South America.

Dutch Antilles Express (DAE): Established in 2005, DAE was a regional airline of the Dutch Antilles, offering services within the Caribbean and to the United States and South America. As of my last update in 2021, DAE ceased operations in 2013.

Air Flamenco: Founded in 1976, Air Flamenco is a regional airline from Puerto Rico offering scheduled, charter, and cargo services to the Caribbean.

Vieques Air Link: Founded in 1965, Vieques Air Link is a small Puerto Rican airline offering flights between Vieques, Culebra, and mainland Puerto Rico.

Air Sunshine: Established in 1982, Air Sunshine is a regional airline from the United States that provides scheduled service to several Caribbean destinations.

Air Saint Pierre: Founded in 1965, Air Saint Pierre is a French airline based in Saint-Pierre, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, a self-governing territorial overseas collectivity of France, situated in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean.

Anguilla Air Services: Founded in 2005, Anguilla Air Services is a small airline offering chartered and scheduled flights within the Caribbean from its base in Anguilla.
