Top Review: “I had heard of this place since I had moved to Winston-Salem 6 months ago but hadn’t had the opportunity to go. There was quite a line waiting and they said it would be about 45 minutes late but in reality it only turned out to be about 25. We had a table and a super friendly waitress. She let me substitute the fruit that should come with my plate for a biscuit. The food was delicious and I had only had eggs Benedict once before and these were

cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. The inside of the restaurant was very classy and a very nice downtown restaurant that was not expensive at all. I will definitely be back.”Marcus W.

Top Review: “Traveling today from Sandy Ridge NC to Hickory NC and stop for breakfast. What a surprise for us. The food was delicious and plentiful. Service excellent from the warm welcome from the hostess to our server, Chelsea-she was on top of her game. Again, food was delicious, hashbrowns were cooked perfect for me. There were several customers and the food came out quick and hot. We will certainly put your restaurant on our list and share with others when near your area.  Just wished we lived closer!”JR

It all started when Mama Zoe’s father bought Christy’s in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania on her 10th birthday. The family didn’t speak English and Mama Zoe was thrown into the chaotic world of restaurant life.

But she quickly learned the ropes and became determined to help her parents run the restaurant properly. Over the years, Mama Zoe’s father became known as “Crazy Bill” and Mama Zoe and her brother, Dino Rizos, took over the restaurant.

Top Review: “This place is in a strip mall. Weekends it is very busy as well as during dinner most nights. The place is very casual with a pleasant, family oriented atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, courteous and efficient. They are very well know for their cakes and desserts and have them on display by the entrance. They have a few local products also for sale. The menu has something for everyone all day, breakfast, lunch & dinner. I have yet to be disappointed. Not only do I eat here regularly with my family but bring family & friends when they are in town. Today I will focus on breakfast, wether it’s an omelette, skillet, or my favorite eggs Benedicts, they are all cooked liked your grandma or mom. All types of sides available as well as waffles & pancakes. Anytime of day you will not be disappointed and neither will your wallet.”William H.
