How Belfrē Kitchen won Delafield’s hearts
Belfrē Kitchen opened its doors in October 2016 inside The Steeple, a beautifully restored 1868 church building in the heart of downtown Delafield, and it quickly became something the town hadn’t quite had before. ⛪
Founder Amy Quinn built the restaurant around a simple idea: good food and good friends, with a menu that leaned heavily on ingredients sourced from nearby Wisconsin farms and foragers.

That reaction is exactly why local restaurateur Llazar Konda stepped in just months later, taking over the space while keeping many of the original team’s familiar faces on staff and preserving the restaurant’s name and spirit. 💛
