Opening just three weeks before COVID-19 shutdowns, the Okuns could have easily given up when forced to operate takeout-only.
Instead, they focused on their mission to sell 40 burgers a day just to keep their lights on and three staff members employed.
The community rallied around them, and within six months, they exceeded their goals and expanded to five employees.
Their homemade everything approach sets them apart – from hand-cut fries to freshly baked burger buns made in-house daily.
Deana’s extensive baking background, including custom cakes, combined with Mike’s corporate training skills and foodie expertise, created the perfect recipe for success.
