This place is definitely not your average hotel- it’s a lodge that’s set in the middle of a cave! If you’re a nature lover, you’ll be blown away by the gorgeous surroundings.
This lodge will make you feel close to nature but not make it feel too weird to sleep inside their renovated cave bedrooms. The rooms are air-conditioned, come with a TV and bathrooms. You can also rent out the entire home if you want to have a party.
The Wigwam

If you’re like me and would love to go back in time to the 1950s, I’d highly recommend checking out this quirky hotel in Holbrook, Arizona. The Wigwam is a 440-acre complex made up of concrete teepee-shaped buildings, a golf course, restaurants, a spa, and more.
This place looks like something out of the Flintstones! They even have an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar.

If you’re the outdoorsy type of person who loves animals, then I’d definitely recommend checking out this cute hotel in Cottonwood, Idaho. Dog Bark Park Inn is a hotel that lets you camp out with your dogs. Plus, you’ll be staying inside the World’s Biggest Beagle!
Yup, it’s like glamping but for dog people! You can bring up to three of your pets on your staycation and they even have pet-friendly dinner specials every night. If you’re an animal lover (and who isn’t?), definitely check this inn shaped like a dog!

The Jules Undersea Lodge is the only underwater hotel in the US! It’s also one of the few places where you can legally scuba dive to get there. And if you don’t know how to scuba dive, don’t worry because they offer a “dry dive” option where you can scuba in their underwater window!
This is definitely one of the most unique hotels out there. Instead of staying on land and looking out at the ocean, you can now stay underwater and look out into the ocean. This gives off an almost magical, dream-like vibe.
This place is perfect for scuba enthusiasts and those who just love the oceanic life. It’s especially wonderful if you’re a person who wants to go on an underwater honeymoon!
The Queen Mary
Long Beach, California
If you’re someone who loves luxury but also wants something affordable, check out the Queen Mary Hotel. This hotel is regularly $179/night but if you book six months in advance, it costs only $99!
The Queen Mary has over 300 luxurious rooms all of which are designed with 1920s style furniture and decor. You can also enjoy their spa services or watch live bands play during one of their themed parties. Or even better- check out the ghosts that haunt the area!
Winvian Farm
Litchfield Hills, Connecticut
If you’re like me and value an experience over a place, check out Winvian Farm in Litchfield Hills, Connecticut. This place is perfect for people who want to be surrounded by nature yet still not feel like they’re roughing it.
This place is like a rich person’s version of glamping. You’ll definitely be spending most of your stay relaxing with a glass of wine on their gorgeous outdoor patios and garden areas.
This luxury resort spans 113 acres with 18 unique resort cottages, the Hadley Suite, and an elegant 1775 manor. Each cottage is unique and gives you a different experience from each. They also have an on-site spa, a 40-foot swimming pool, and many more.

The Madonna Inn
San Luis Obispo, California
The Madonna Inn is a hotel in San Luis Obispo, California known for its unique and quirky decor. It was built in 1958 by Alex Madonna and it still retains its retro-futuristic look to this day.

The Red Caboose Motel is a motel in Ronks, Pennsylvania that is famous for its themed train cabooses. Each room is designed to look like actual train cabooses, so the place looks exactly how you’d imagine it would! Some have their own double whirlpool bathtubs, waterfall showers, and quirky decor inside them.
This place is perfect for people who love unique themed hotels! It’s especially wonderful if you love trains since every one of the rooms is decorated like a train. From the conductor’s room to the dining car, you can enjoy a different experience every time!
The Liberty Hotel

The Liberty Hotel is a former prison in Boston that they renovated and turned into a luxury hotel. It’s located in the heart of the city and offers stunning views of the Charles River.
